Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of DevStash at devstash.io, which is run by Traversy Media. By creating an account or using DevStash, you agree to them. Questions go to brad@traversymedia.com.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Use an email address you can receive mail at, since that is how we reach you about your account.

Your content

You own what you save. You give us permission to store it and show it to you; when you share it, to show it to others and let them copy it into their own stash; and when you use an AI helper, to send it to OpenAI to produce the result. That permission covers only what is needed to run DevStash.

Only save and share content you have the right to. Do not share other people's code, secrets, or credentials without their permission.

Anything you share as Unlisted or Public can be viewed and copied by anyone who has the link, including through raw links, images, and Save to your stash. Sharing a collection shares every item in it, including items that are private on their own. Making something private again stops new views on DevStash, but copies other people already saved stay in their stash, and link previews already posted elsewhere may remain.

Acceptable use

Do not use DevStash to:

• share malware, phishing, or anything illegal
• send spam or host pages mainly to manipulate search results
• harass anyone or publish someone's personal information
• overload, probe, or work around DevStash's limits or security

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

The service

DevStash is free for now. If that changes, we will tell you before you are charged for anything.

We may change, add, or remove features. If we ever shut DevStash down, we will give you notice and time to export your data.

DevStash is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Keep your own copies of anything important; you can export your stash at any time.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Traversy Media is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of DevStash.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If you keep using DevStash after a change, you accept the updated terms.
